Overview
Villa Podere Vecciale is a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom old farm located on the hills of the Chianti area overlooking the Arno valley. Its excellent position ensures a sweeping view with the backdrop of the Pratomagno mountains. It is a stone construction and has been converted into a typical Tuscan farmhouse of the past. It is about 500m from Montegonzi, a small hamlet with narrow streets rising towards the castle. The country house is part of a farm where there is also a restaurant, a tennis court and horse-riding stables where you can learn to ride horses or, for the more expert riders, you can take part in excursions in the countryside.
Villa Podere Vecciale has olive groves, woods and small vineyards all around. Those who love excursions are spoilt for choice: either the small and well-known towns of the Chianti area, such as Gaiole, or cities such as Arezzo, Siena or Florence. The garden of the house is entirely fenced and slightly further, on top of a panoramic terrace, lies the swimming pool with garden furniture and outdoor shower. You can also enjoy outdoor snacks and meals on three furnished terraces. Villa Podere Vecciale has central heating and insect screens at the bedroom windows. There is parking available on the property and pets are allowed.
