Overview
Villa Jaume Ramona is an old Mallorcan property located in the Colonya Valley, a beautiful place surrounded by mountains and Century-old Olive fields and other native Mallorcan trees. The house is accessed from the town of Pollensa and boarder along a narrow road that skirts different farms, among several historical properties (grand homes).
The house has been carefully renovated during the winter of 2019-2020, with focus on the conservation of old traditional elements such as exposed stone walls and wooden beams on the ceilings, while integrating a more modern interior. Some of the most important improvements which should be mentioned are the newly tiled floors, the renovated kitchen and bathrooms as well as the addition of a fifth bathroom. New lighting has also given a modern ambience to all spaces.
As you enter the centre of the house there is a spacious dining room with traditional walls and lighting, a place from which you can access the fully equipped kitchen that still preserves the old fireplace (currently disabled) typical of old Mallorcan houses.
On the ground floor there is a spacious leisure room where you can play table football or sit on the large comfortable sofa with a chaise longue to enjoy movies on the impressive 65-inch screen. The smart television is fitted with Wi-Fi so that customers can enjoy their Amazon Prime, Netflix and other streaming platforms
From the dining room you can also pass through an interior stone arch where you will access the ground floor double bedroom which is adjacent to a full bathroom.
To the left of the main entrance, you will also find a staircase that leads to the first floor where the other rooms are located: two twin bedrooms that share a full bathroom; a double bedroom with a private ensuite bathroom and two more twin bedrooms which share a bathroom.
It should be noted that the house has various configurations for beds, it is possible to convert some of the twin bedrooms into doubles, (always on prior request).
Outside there are a few spacious seating options to enjoy outdoor dining during the hot summer months or where you can also enjoy an appetiser and a few drinks admiring the beautiful views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. On one side of the terrace, there is a covered barbecue area with a fridge which is ideal for those who love outdoor cooking/grills.
The terrace has also been extended around the pool area to have more space for sun loungers and to have an area to enjoy a good rest on the Balinese day bed. The pool, which has Roman steps, has also been completely renovated and retiled.
The exterior also has a newly restored bathroom (the fifth); and a laundry room with racks to store bikes.
