Villas in Puerto Pollensa
Villa Piedra is a nice Mallorcan semi-detached country property placed in the beautiful area of Boquer, very close to Puerto Pollensa and its beaches. The villa has been renovated as a holiday home and the work has been done with great sensitivity to the buildings’ original design and decoration.
The great mountains out to the back make a dramatic backdrop; the villa is cool and rustic with thick stone walls, high beamed ceilings, and original tiled floors. There is some beautiful antique Mallorcan furniture here, some of it original to the house.
On the ground floor there is a spacious rustic lounge and dining room, which is reached by an exterior doorway. The kitchen combines traditional design with the latest fittings such as an electric oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a washing machine. Double doors lead out onto the barbecue area and exterior terraces with views of the mountains and beyond. One exterior full bathroom is also situated near the barbecue area.
The bedrooms are all upstairs and they consist of two twins (one of which has a full ensuite bathroom) and a double bedroom. All bedrooms have air-conditioning. A further full bathroom completes this upper level of the villa.
The garden and pool are well designed with stone sun-terraces around a rectangular pool with plant pots dotted around. The views from the pool area are amazing, overlooking the whole resort of Puerto Pollensa.
Villa Piedra is a house with lots of historic character, a lovely place for a relaxing and peaceful holiday with a group of friends or family. The historic town of Pollensa is also just a 10-minute drive from here.
