Are you looking for a relaxing villa holiday in a tranquil location? Set in lush countryside overlooking the Atlantic Ocean is Casa da Vargem I, which is on a plot of two properties (available to share – please check Casa da Vargem II). The villa is in the warm and sunny municipality of Ponta do Sol, in a privileged area of excellent sun exposure and sea views. The property is surrounded by greenery and hosts a beautiful organic garden cared for by Mrs. Fatima, which grows a variety of different herbs.
The villas garden is home to a wonderful shared, infinity-style swimming pool, offering incredible views out over the ocean and lush gardens. For drinks at sunset, you have a hot tub where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. Inside, the villa is decorated with a modern design. The house has two bedrooms, both with a double bed; 1 bathroom; and a fully equipped kitchen.
The villa is in the southwest of the island, in the municipality of Ponta do Sol. Nearby is a small grocery store where you can do some shopping. The house is 6 minutes from Ponta do Sol village centre. Here you will find several restaurants, a café, and some shops. In Ribeira Brava, which is a 10-minute drive from the property, there are supermarkets and some local shops. The airport is 40 minutes by car and the city of Funchal is 25 minutes.
