Overview
Villa Dimitra is one of the state-of-the-art properties in Elounda, in a gorgeous spot overlooking the island of Spinalonga. It’s three floors climb the hill, offering privacy with a view.
On the ground floor, there is a huge open plan kitchen and living area. The floor is Italian hardwood and furnishings are refined. The fully fitted kitchen is gloss white with the addition of a wine fridge for a chilled glass of wine while the sun sets. The living room is fitted with luxurious sofas which will keep you relaxed throughout your holiday.
The private infinity pool fades into the Elounda gulf, with the glass panels allowing every inch of the landscape on view. The outside terrace is full of Olive trees and local plants sure to provide a touch of the unique Greek scenery. The outside covered kitchen and dining area and the gas barbecue will give you glorious moments of gastronomic flavours.
If you wish to explore the surrounding area there is a small fishing village, Plaka, just a five-minute walk away and Elounda a ten-minute drive away. Shingle beaches in front of your feet will call you to enjoy the blue crystal-clear waters. Take a boat trip to Spinalonga where you will find a fortress and the Leper's colony. Visit the ruins of the ancient city of Olous, or the amazing Kolokytha beach then take a trip into town for a local dinner to taste the famous Mediterranean cuisine.
When the night closes in, it will be difficult to choose out of the six grand bedrooms, all of which are modern, chic, cosy and air-conditioned. The ultra-comfortable super-king sized beds will make sure you wake in the morning feeling refreshed and ready to eat, swim and see what else the day brings.
